You will manage a Talent Acquisition Specialist and collaborate to address our ambitious hiring needs throughout 2026. This role will be based in our London office and therefore you must be able to commute to our London office on a weekly and regular basis.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with stakeholders and the People team to define hiring requirements and develop comprehensive talent acquisition plansManage the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring an excellent candidate experience from sourcing and shortlisting to interviews, evaluation, offer negotiation, and onboardingCollaborate with the wider team to build and manage management information (MI) for data-driven decisions on sourcing strategies and hiring processesAct as a Starling Bank brand ambassador, actively seeking opportunities to showcase us as an employer of choiceRequirementsDemonstrable track record in recruitment, preferably in-house, with experience in Corporate roles (e.g., Risk, Compliance, Finance, Marketing, People, Legal)Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work quicklyStrong understanding of the local market for operational talent, with the ability to build relationships for both immediate and long-term hiringTangible evidence of driving improvements in candidate experience, including coaching hiring managers and implementing effective process changesWhile experience in finance/banking is not essential, a passion for our mission is paramountExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to negotiate and influence effectively with both candidates and hiring managersEssential experience in line managementDemonstrable ability to manage and prioritize your own time effectivelyStrong attention to detail, ensuring a consistently positive candidate experienceA data-driven approach, actively seeking proactive hiring strategiesApplications for this position will close on Thursday 30th October at 5pm.Benefits25 days holiday (plus take your public holiday allowance whenever works best for you)An extra day's holiday for your birthdayAnnual leave is increased with length of service, and you can choose to buy or sell up to five extra days off16 hours paid volunteering time a yearSalary sacrifice, company enhanced pension schemeLife insurance at 4x your salary & group income protectionPrivate Medical Insurance with VitalityHealth including mental health support and cancer care.
