Role SynopsisThe Talent Acquisition Specialist (recruitment coordinator) is responsible for providing administrative support to the senior leadership hiring team, focusing on requisition allocation, interview facilitation, and assessment logistics. This role ensures recruitment tasks are completed within specified timescales and standards, liaising with relevant business leaders and the Talent Acquisition organization to realize bp's talent strategy, emphasizing quality of hire, diversity and inclusion, pace of hiring, and critical capabilities.Role PurposeOperations & Advisory (O&A) is an internal global shared services and technology solutions organization within People & Culture. It is responsible for innovating and delivering HR services and solutions for bp globally, from a number of business & technology centres and local delivery teams. O&A is the first point of contact for HR-related matters; the team are policy, process, and digital guides, dedicated to delivering the best customer experience. The main purpose of the Talent Acquisition Specialist role is to provide administrative support to the senior leadership hiring team with a focus on allocating requisitions, interview facilitation, and assessment logistics. The role is responsible for providing a dedicated coordinating service for candidates and ensuring necessary recruitment tasks are completed to specified timescales, agreed standards, and via appropriate channels. The role holder will work closely with partners from relevant business leaders and TA organization to ensure that the bp talent strategy is realized, with a focus on quality of hire, pace, D&I, and critical capabilities.Role AccountabilitiesSupport the senior leadership hiring team to reliably handle administrative process of a portfolio of requisitionsResponsible for scheduling interviews, for logistics and facilitation of interviewsResponsible for ensuring quality candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the processSupport senior leadership hiring advisors with adhoc data requests and running Talent Insight reportsCoordinate relationship with procurement related to payments and invoices to recruitment agenciesSupport professional hiring team with screening CVs/candidates i.e. conduct phone screens, review HireVue online screenings, shortlist candidates as neededResponsible for setting up and collecting assessment materials and support with assessment softwareMeeting and greeting candidates invited for interview and ensuring all relevant parties are presentHandle candidate travel and liaise with travel vendor (i.e. candidate expenses)Managing job postings with external vendors if requiredSupport candidate sourcing in internal and external databases/sourcesProvide support on various P&C/TA projects where needed and participate in project teams as requiredAny other task assigned by line manager/as requested (i.e. support with events, etc.)Implement related business processes and actively seek out improvement opportunities in close collaboration with TA and other O&A teamsRequired QualificationsUniversity degree, preferably in a related fieldProficient written and verbal EnglishOne team mind-set - demonstrates an understanding of the value of, and ability to develop, high quality, trust-based relationships with the wider team and organisationPresentation, writing, reading and numerical abilitiesComfortable in Microsoft product suiteSkilled at active listening, influencing and communicationFamiliarity with Talent Acquisition processes and policy.
