It sits at the very core of the elseco group and is seen as business critical to the elseco’s group future success and growth plans.JOB PURPOSE / MANDATE:The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment across elseco, ensuring the attraction, selection and retention of top talent aligned with business needs. This role involves executing recruitment strategies, partnering with stakeholders, managing vendor relationships, and enhancing elseco’s employer brand. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will work closely with the Head of HR and head of departments and hiring managers to deliver seamless recruitment operations and ensure a positive candidate experience, supporting the organisation’s growth and strategic objectives.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage the full recruitment cycle in accordance with the elseco Group values, including sourcing, screening, HR interviews, hiring, offer negotiation, and onboarding, ensuring efficiency and a high-quality candidate experience.Collaborate with hiring managers and senior stakeholders to understand current and future hiring needs, providing recruitment guidance and tailored solutions.Analyse current recruitment processes and identify areas for improvement.Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies and best practices.Maintain accurate recruitment data and generate insights to inform strategic hiring decisions.Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for specialised roles, anticipating future requirements.Contribute to elseco’s employer branding initiatives to attract top-tier candidates.Monitor recruitment trends, market intelligence, and competitor activity to optimise hiring strategies.Input and improve Talent Acquisition data to maintain accurate database and reporting.Maintain and update the applicant tracking system and HR systems with accurate candidate data and new joiner information.Participate in the development of reports to track recruitment metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.Coordinate with hiring managers/head of departments to schedule technical interviews and ensure timely feedback to candidates.Conduct compliance and internal security checks for candidates as per HR guidelines.Share job offers with candidates and facilitate the pre-boarding and onboarding process in collaboration with HR and relevant stakeholders. Prepare and communicate onboarding programs to new hires.Manage the administration of the probation review process.Collaborate with hiring managers and HR to increase rentention rates and reduce turnover of critical roles and high performers. Maintain and build relationships with universities and schools to attract talented students for internships. Create internship programs in collaboration with the HR team, including recruitment, onboarding, and program coordination.Participate in recruiting events and activities to attract top talent and promote elseco’s employer brand when necessary.Assist in creating and updating job descriptions in coordination with managers.Ensure adherence to HR and Compliance policies and procedures throughout the recruitment process.Liaise with external recruitment vendors and headhunters, managing contracts and service levels.Perform any other duties as requested to support the overall Talent Acquisition function and organisational goals.Perform other ad-hoc administration and HR tasks or projects as required by the Head of HR or the Leadership Team.KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent qualification).Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in recruitment, preferably in international or fast-paced environments.Strong experience in IT recruitment, niche hiring, and headhunting for specialised roles.Proven ability in senior stakeholder management and vendor management.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.High learning agility, proactive mindset, and ability to thrive in dynamic environments.Collaborative team player with a positive, solution-oriented approach.Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
