Tax Senior – Employment Tax & Global MobilityLocation: Dublin (Hybrid)A Top 10 professional services firm in Dublin is seeking a Tax Senior to join its expanding Employment Tax and Global Mobility team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified or part-qualified tax professional who wants to broaden their technical and advisory experience within a dynamic and supportive environment.The successful candidate will gain hands-on exposure to a wide variety of employment tax, income tax, and global mobility assignments across multiple sectors. The firm offers a structured development pathway, strong mentorship, and clear progression opportunities through to manager level.The RoleThis role provides an outstanding platform for a motivated tax professional to strengthen their expertise across employment tax and international mobility, while also supporting broader tax advisory projects. Working directly with senior team members, the Tax Senior will contribute to the delivery of high-quality assignments, manage aspects of client relationships, and develop their technical and consulting skills through on-the-job coaching and formal training.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport senior staff with the delivery and project management of employment tax and global mobility assignments.Assist with planning, scheduling, and coordination of tax projects across a broad client base.Contribute to tax advisory work and assist in identifying tax planning opportunities for clients.Manage multiple assignments concurrently, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.Conduct technical research on relevant tax legislation and guidance.Liaise with colleagues across the firm (e.g. audit, accounting, company secretarial) to deliver integrated client solutions.Support client relationships through clear communication, professionalism, and attention to detail.Participate in business development initiatives and contribute to the firm’s continued growth.Mentor and support junior team members while engaging in your own continuous professional development.Skills, Knowledge & ExperienceProfessional qualification (or near completion) in Tax (AITI/CTA) – essential.Accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA) or progress towards qualification is desirable.0–2 years post-qualified experience in tax compliance or advisory, ideally with exposure to income tax or employment tax.Strong technical foundation in Irish income tax with a genuine interest in developing expertise in employment tax and global mobility.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex issues clearly.Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects effectively.Proactive, professional, and eager to develop a long-term career within a respected tax practice.The OpportunityStructured training and mentoring in employment tax and global mobility.Clear, defined career progression to Tax Manager level and beyond.Exposure to leading Irish and international clients across diverse sectors.Collaborative, high-performing team with a strong emphasis on development.Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Hybrid working and a modern, centrally located office environment.How to ApplyAmicus Search & Recruitment manage a strict data protection policy ensuring your information and all forms of communication are held in strict confidence.For an initial conversation along with a detailed brief of the above position please contact our Accountancy & Tax Recruitment Director, Ross Wynne ross@amicus.ie or click apply below.What we doOur Accountancy & Finance recruitment division is dedicated to providing a first rate experience to our candidates with a philosophy based on delivery.
