We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous Tax Specialist to join our Finance team and help ensure our continued compliance and financial efficiency.We are seeking an experienced and detail oriented Tax Specialist to manage all aspects of tax compliance, reporting, and planning for the company. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of local and international tax regulations and be proficient in managing tax processes and interacting with tax authorities. This role is critical to maintaining our financial health and legal standing.What You’ll DoPreparation and Filing: Prepare, review, and file all required tax returns (e.g., VAT/GST, income tax, withholding tax, corporate tax, transfer pricing, etc.) accurately and on time.Compliance: Ensure complete compliance with all applicable tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.Tax Strategy: Advise management on effective tax planning strategies to optimize the company's tax efficiency and minimize liabilities.Legislation Monitoring: Monitor changes in tax legislation, rules, and regulations and assess their immediate and long-term impact on the company.Audits and Authorities: Manage tax audits, assessments, and all official correspondence and negotiations with tax authorities and government agencies.Coordination: Coordinate effectively with external auditors, tax advisors, and relevant government agencies.Record Keeping: Maintain and organize comprehensive tax records, supporting documents, and reconciliations for audit readiness.Financial Reporting: Support the financial reporting process by ensuring proper accounting for current and deferred taxes in line with accounting standards.Internal Guidance: Provide expert guidance and clear communication to other departments on the tax implications of various business decisions and transactions.Process Improvement: Implement and maintain robust internal tax controls and compliance processes to mitigate risk.What We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a closely related field.Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience in tax compliance, planning, and reporting within a corporate environment or public accounting firm.Professional certification is preferred (e.g., CPA, CA, CTA, CMA, or equivalent).Skills And KnowledgeStrong knowledge of local tax laws and established international taxation principles.Proven experience in dealing with tax authorities and successfully handling tax audits.Proficiency in accounting and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) is highly desirable.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.Good communication skills (both written and verbal) for internal and external stakeholders.Ability to work effectively under pressure and consistently meet tight deadlines
