You'll ensure data-driven decision-making and foster a data-first culture.Your MissionManage & Optimize BI Infrastructure: Own and maintain our end-to-end BI setup, which currently includes Airbyte, dbt, Snowflake, and Metabase. Continuously evaluate and implement the best tools to meet our evolving needs. Develop Scalable Data Models: Build and maintain reliable, scalable data models that ensure data integrity and accuracy across all business functions. Drive Strategic Insights: Analyze business performance metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership and various teams. Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product, marketing, and sales teams to understand data needs and support data-driven decision-making. Mentorship & Alignment: Manage and upskill junior team members and ensure that data strategies align with the company’s vision and goals. Ensure Data Governance: Implement and uphold data governance policies and industry best practices to maintain compliance and security. Leverage AI-Augmented Analytics Workflows: Apply AI coding tools to accelerate development, improve code quality, and establish best practices for AI-assisted analytics across the team.Your ProfileDemonstrate Strong Analytics Experience: 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related field. Exhibit Advanced SQL Expertise: Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Redshift, or similar. Communicate Data Effectively: Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly present complex data and insights to non-technical stakeholders. Work with Business Intelligence Tools: Hands-on experience building dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Metabase, or similar. Apply Data Modeling Best Practices: Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts. Deliver Analytical Insights: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights. Thrive in Fast-Paced Environments: Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment with rapidly evolving priorities. Adopt AI-Assisted Development Tools: Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) and an interest in integrating them into modern analytics engineering workflows.
