Job Description

 Role Summary The Team Lead, Institutional Sales, is responsible for managing relationships with institutional clients and driving sales growth within this segment. The role demands in-depth knowledge of financial products, strategic planning, and team leadership to achieve revenue objectives and enhance client satisfaction. Responsibilities Identify opportunities and develop relationships with Institutional investors and investment consultants in assigned institutional market channels. • Contribute to the development and implementation of a sales, marketing and/ or PR strategy for current Coronation Ecosystem offerings • Consistently enhances the credibility of the organization through its customer interactions • Leads new business meetings and closes sales to institutional investors and consultants. • Leverages the organization’s relationship with existing institutional accounts by developing and executing proactive, creative, and ongoing contact initiatives. • Lead sales pitches, client presentations, and negotiations to close deals. • Ensures channels (physical or digital such as mobile, web, physical branch, human-centered virtual channels etc.) are maintained and operationally available to provide services. • Educates customers on the digital products and services offered by the coronation. • Keep up to date with any regulatory or statutory changes and policies that might affect the organisationStays up to date on the new instruments and product types being traded, and new ways to transact instruments • Keep abreast on the nature and characteristics of investment Instruments and products • Oversee and guide the performance of the institutional sales team. Qualifications  Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in institutional sales. • MBA or CFA certification is an advantage. • Strong client relationship management skills. • Advanced knowledge of financial products and services. • Effective leadership and team management capabilities. • Must have demonstrated ability to create sales/relationship opportunities with clients, prospects and consultants in assigned market segments. • Must have excellent sales skills and in-depth product and broad investment knowledge • Strong communication and presentation skills • Ability to work well with a variety of people at all levels of the organization • Demonstrated ability to close business • General understanding of the financial markets and investment vehicles
