He oversees concerned teams to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget, to a required standard. The Team Lead serves as a vital leader in both technical and managerial aspects, responsible for guiding and motivating multiple teams within the areas of responsibility/Multiple Provinces or functions. He/she shall oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation and closure, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role demands strong leadership, mentorship, and motivational skills, coupled with excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.The Team Lead shall possess strong project management and organizational skills, with a proven ability to lead and motivate high-performing teams. In-depth knowledge of relevant engineering principles and practices is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in relevant software tools and technologies is also crucial. The Team Lead shall play a vital role in building and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders, effectively communicating project progress, challenges, and solutions.Main Roles & Responsibilities:Team Lead will be responsible for reviewing and vetting of tender and contract documents, scope of work, bills of quantities (BOQ), Tender/ Working Drawings, Shop Drawings etc. of his assigned projects.Team Lead will be responsible for complete ownership of his projects from the pre-tendering stage to completion.Must have Strong knowledge of Building Codes, Designs, Billing/ Estimation Standards/Methodologies.Must possess sound knowledge of Types of Contracts, Technical Sanctions & Planning Commissions, Variation Orders.Team lead will be responsible for realistic bench marking/ finalization of scope of work of projects.Monitor each stage of construction to make sure that costs are in line with forecasts.Manage the senior/ project engineers and enabling them to supervise and manage the teams.Establishment of client's requirements and undertaking feasibility studies. Perform risk and value management and cost control.Managing risks to avoid delays or reputational damages.Maintain awareness of all contracts in current use. Work in compliance with quality assurance program.Understand and adhere to statutory regulations, standard policies and procedures, regulating and accrediting bodies, and quality assurance program.Devising cost effective plans to enable effective project completion.Meetings with stakeholders and Contractors to report on project progress.Making strategic decisions and providing leadership and direction to team members to implement the decisions.Monitoring build progress, overseeing finances and ensuring project quality.Resolution on disputes and contractual claims.Job Requirement:Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, candidates with Master's Degree in Geo-Tech/ Construction & Engineering Management/Structures will be preferred.Minimum 18-20 years of progressive field experience in Civil Engineering with a key focus on Execution of structural works, RCC Works, Infrastructure works, public health works/ schemes etc. Experience with Pakistani Firms registered in Category C-1 will be preferred.Should have completed execution of minimum 08 Projects as Senior Engineer/ Team Lead/ Senior Role not less than Contract Value of PKR 2 Billion from Pre-Tendering stage to successful completion.Strong understanding of relevant building codes, standards, and regulations i:e FIDIC, PEC Bidding Document & PPRA etc.Must possess sound knowledge of types of Contracts, Design review, Estimates, Rate Analysis, implementation of design.Overseeing all projects stages from preliminary layouts to final designs & from pre-tendering stage to closing.A proven record of delivering projects in challenging environments keeping in view all the quality and design standards.Extensive knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices, including structural, geotechnical, and concrete design.Should have strong drafting & written communication skills.In-depth understanding of construction methods and Project Management Cycle. Strong project planning, scheduling, and budgeting skills.Ability to lead and motivate project teams effectively. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve complex technical challenges.Ability to think critically and make sound engineering judgments. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to effectively communicate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholdersProfessional Engineer (PE)/Registered Engineer license from Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Excel, MS Autocad).MariEnergies is an equal opportunity employer.
