Lead a high-performing Test & Automation team where you’ll shape testing strategies, guide engineers and make a real mark in the quantum computing space.With hybrid working and three weeks a year you can work from abroad, you’ll have the flexibility to fit your life. It’s a chance to build expertise in a field that’s only just beginning to take off, while working alongside some of the sharpest minds in the sector.What you'll doLead and mentor the work for a team of test development engineers in their day-to-day activities. Set clear expectations, assign tasks, and apply metrics to triage and prioritise department resources and workflow.Be an ambassador for Qblox company values and translate them to the team’s day-to-day activities. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and find opportunities for training and development.Proactively drive process and infrastructure improvements. Develop a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting effective communication and knowledge exchange.What you won’t do: Quality Assurance. This is not a QA role.About the companyQblox is a deep tech scaleup whose mission is to accelerate the worldwide race towards building scalable quantum computers. They do this by providing the world's best quantum control stacks.The technology being developed is compatible with a broad range of qubit technologies (superconducting, spin, NV-centres, cold atoms). The software department consists of around 25 engineers divided into three teams; Embedded Software Engineering, Software Engineering and the Test & Automation team.Enough about us. What about you?What you’ll need:Strong Python skills, with a solid background in development (hands-on or supervisory)Hardware experience, comfortable working with test and measurement equipment and basic electronicsBroad testing background, able to review and develop test cases across hardware and softwarePeople management experiencePlease click the ‘Apply’ button.
