About the roleThis is a fixed term opportunity available until 27/11/2026.As a new leader in our Christchurch Client Administration hub, part of a national back-office function, you will be supporting Client Administration employees who are often not only new to ACC but also working in their first role in a corporate environment, as well as some seasoned professionals.You will empower your team to provide an accurate and efficient supportive service ensuring our clients receive the right support to enable their effective rehabilitation and subsequent return to independence.About youTo be successful you will need to be able to hit the ground running and will be in your element coaching and mentoring team members and providing support to ensure our success.You will thrive working in a fast-paced environment and enjoy the opportunity to work collaboratively both locally and nationally.If you are a customer focused leader who thrives on consistency, collaboration and supporting your team to deliver quality customer experiences this is the role for you.Important SkillsLeadership experience in a fast-paced inclusive environment.Proven ability to motivate operational teams to achieve customer outcomes using data and insights.Experience coaching people to achieve results, adapting your approach to suit individual needs and styles.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to make pragmatic decisions in complex and/or challenging situations.Ability to motivate teams with a collaborative approach.You'll bring curiosity and a drive for continuous improvement, along with resilience, adaptability, and the ability to thrive through change.Ideally, you will have experience turning around team performance, lifting culture, and positively shifting behaviours through strong, values led leadership.We're looking for someone who is proactive, efficient, and thrives in a collaborative environment.You'll bring strong initiative, a people first mindset, and a genuine belief in our purpose.
