Join us to work at the intersection of machine learning, data science, and competitive gaming to fight cheating and preserve trust at scale.OverviewWe’re hiring a Data Team Manager to lead and unify our cross-disciplinary data team — including data scientists, machine learning engineers, deep learning researchers, and analysts — focused on developing and scaling our AI-powered anti-cheat systems.This is a strategic and technical leadership role responsible for aligning workstreams across bot detection, collusion analysis, and adversarial modeling. You’ll play a key part in designing scalable ML pipelines, coordinating data workflows, and building models that detect unfair play in real time. Your leadership will ensure seamless collaboration across R&D, engineering, and security operations.Must-Have Expertise (Not Optional)Candidates must have significant prior experience in the Anti-Fraud / Anti-cheat / online gaming security solutions. Seasoned technical expertise for Deep Learning and Neural Network/NN are required. Bi-Lingual speaker for both Mandarin and English are required. ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & ManagementLead and grow a hybrid team of data scientists, analysts, ML/DL engineers, and researchers.Define team OKRs, manage priorities, and ensure alignment across multiple anti-cheat workstreams (e.g., bot detection, collusion, exploit modeling).Provide technical guidance and career development mentorship for team members.Build cross-functional processes to support collaborative research, experimentation, and deployment.Data Strategy & ArchitectureOwn the end-to-end data lifecycle, from ingestion and labeling to feature engineering and model monitoring.Define and enforce best practices for data governance, privacy, versioning, and reproducibility.Oversee data infrastructure and pipelines to support real-time and batch ML workflows.Machine Learning & Deep Learning OperationsCoordinate the development and productionization of machine learning models for fraud detection, player behavior profiling, and exploit identification.Drive MLOps best practices, including model retraining, drift detection, and automated evaluation.Collaborate with the AI architecture team to ensure data and model alignment for deployment at scale.Anti-Cheat & Game IntelligencePartner with game theory experts, security teams, and domain specialists to identify cheating patterns, design data labeling strategies, and validate model output.Facilitate the integration of exploitative modeling, inverse reinforcement learning, and human vs. AI behavioral analysis into data-driven workflows.Oversee experiments to evaluate detection accuracy, false positives, and impact on user experience.Cross-Functional CollaborationAct as the data team's interface with AI architecture, software engineering, product, and operations.Collaborate closely with product and leadership to translate detection needs into actionable technical projects.Work with gaming operators and platform partners to ensure real-world effectiveness of data-driven defenses.QualificationsRequiredMaster’s or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, or related field.Strong hands-on knowledge of deep learning, Neural Networks and data engineering tools (e.g., Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, SQL, Spark, Airflow, etc.).Familiarity with gaming security solutions, gaming Anti-cheat, fraud detection, or adversarial AI environments is required.5+ years of experience in data science or ML, with 2+ years leading high-performing teams.Experience managing multi-role data teams across scientist, analytics, ML, and research.Solid understanding of MLOps practices, production model lifecycle, and real-time inference systems.Bi-Lingual speaker for both Mandarin and English are required.
