Job description:About your role We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Technical Account Manager / Account Manager who is looking for the next step in their sales career. This fast-paced, dynamic role services our established portfolio of customers within the Water, Water Treatment and Wastewater industries with a focus on growth in targeted segments. The successful applicant will be trained in all aspects of our products and will quickly gain technical expertise in various aspects of water treatment including boilers, cooling towers, membrane cleaning and coagulation to suit the competitive and innovative nature of the market. Offering flexible working conditions and either hybrid or remote working, your base will cover the Christchurch, Canterbury, Queenstown, Central Otago and Southland regions This technical sales and account management role will allow you to utilise your expertise in nurturing existing relationships with the customers within the water, chemical, food and beverage or associated industries, while also hunting new business opportunities to grow your portfolio. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a strong leader as a mentor, within a supportive and collaborative work environment. Key Responsibilities   Provide responsive account management and outstanding customer partnership Identify and deliver new business growth within your industry segment across Watercare equipment, chemical sales and training and support packages Become a strong technical resource, utilising expert knowledge to answer customer's technical queries and solve their challenges Work closely with Product Managers to assist you in identifying, contacting and developing new customers, selling new products and increasing market share Prepare and execute customer action plans to improve profitability and customer satisfaction Capture market intelligence and competitor information Prepare customer pricing letters and support tender process Prepare monthly reporting and insights Actively develop your technical expertise Undertake customer visits and travel across your region with approx. 1 to 1.5 weeks per month required for travel away from home, depending on location.  Who are we looking for? You are dynamic and responsive in your approach to working with your customers. You are comfortable dealing with ambiguity, thrive on challenge and, as a true salesperson, love the thrill of the win.
