Urgent Recruitment Job Title: Technical and Operations Manager (Logistics) Location: Lekki, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Salary: 150,000-200,000 Job Summary: The Technical and Operations Manager will be responsible for supervising dispatch riders, monitoring operational performance, managing bike maintenance schedules, and ensuring smooth daily logistics activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively. Key Responsibilities: • Supervise and coordinate dispatch riders to ensure timely deliveries and efficient routing. • Monitor and evaluate rider performance using GPS tracking systems and other operational tools. • Oversee bike maintenance, repairs, and documentation to ensure all assets are in good condition. • Maintain accurate records of fleet activities, fuel usage, and maintenance logs. • Plan, implement, and optimize daily operational workflows. • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. • Collaborate with management to improve operational efficiency and service quality. • Prepare periodic operational reports and performance analyses. • Manage rider recruitment, onboarding, and performance review processes. Requirements: • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in logistics, dispatch operations, or a related field. • Strong understanding of dispatch coordination, fleet management, and technical maintenance. • Proficiency in using GPS tracking systems and basic data reporting tools (Excel, Google Sheets). • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. • Knowledge of route optimization and rider performance tracking systems. • Hands-on experience in motorcycle maintenance or coordination with service providers. • Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
