Job Title: ArchitectIndustry: Security Doors Manufacturing LtdLocation: Ikota, Lekki Expressway, LagosSalary: ₦180,000 and above (based on experience)Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday (alternate Saturdays) | 8:00 AM – 6:00PMQualification: B.Sc./M.Sc. in ArchitectureExperience Level: Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in design or manufacturing-related architectureJob SummaryThe Architect will be responsible for designing, detailing, and supervising the production of high-quality security doors and related metalwork products. The ideal candidate will combine aesthetic creativity with technical precision, ensuring that all product designs meet safety, durability, and client specifications. This role requires strong 2D and 3D design skills and close collaboration with the engineering and production teams.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate architectural and detailed technical drawings for door models and related fittings.Develop innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing door designs that reflect the company’s brand standards.Translate client requirements into practical design solutions suitable for production.Work closely with the production team to ensure designs are technically feasible and cost-effective.Supervise installations or factory production to ensure design accuracy and adherence to specifications.Prepare 3D renderings and presentation drawings for client approval.Maintain an updated library of materials, finishes, and hardware designs.Ensure all designs comply with industry safety and structural standards.Conduct periodic site inspections to verify design compliance during fabrication and assembly.Requirements and SkillsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.Minimum of 3 years’ experience in architectural design, preferably in metal or product-based manufacturing.Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and CorelDRAW (or similar 3D modeling software).Strong knowledge of materials used in metal, wood, and glass fabrication.Excellent spatial visualization and detailing skills.Good communication and teamwork abilities to liaise with engineers, technicians, and clients.High attention to detail, creativity, and time management.Must reside within or around Ikota, Ajah, Lekki, or nearby areas for ease of commute.Remuneration & Work ConditionsSalary: ₦180,000 and above (commensurate with experience).Working Hours: 8 AM – 6 PM, Mondays to Saturdays (alternate Saturdays off).Location: Ikota, Lekki Expressway, Lagos
