We’re a small, elite team of creators united by one belief: that imagination, executed with precision, can reshape what games and transmedia experiences mean to people.We are seeking a mid-level Technical Artist to join our team and push the boundariesof what’s possible in our new PC-first cross-platform PvEvP game. This project is built on iconicart direction, and your role will be crucial in developing innovative visual systems and pipelinesthat bring our world and characters to life. You will help bridge the gap between art and engineering,driving the creation of custom tools and workflows that ensure our game not only looks stunningbut also performs flawlessly across platforms.Responsibilities:Tool Development: Design, implement, and maintain custom tools, scripts, and pipelinesthat streamline the art production process and enhance workflow efficiency.Shader and Material Development: Create shaders and materials that align with thegame’s visual style, optimizing them for performance while maintaining artistic integrity.Performance Optimization: Collaborate with artists and engineers to ensure assets areoptimized for cross-platform performance without sacrificing visual quality.Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Act as a bridge between the art and engineeringteams, solving technical challenges related to asset integration and system performance.Innovation: Lead the development of new visual systems and pipelines, pushing thelimits of current technology to achieve groundbreaking results.Troubleshooting: Proactively address technical issues during production, ensuring asmooth development process.Documentation: Develop and maintain documentation for technical workflows, tools, andprocesses to ensure consistency and efficiency across the team.Requirements:Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Game Development, Computer Science,Digital Art, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a Technical Artist in the gamingindustry, with a portfolio showcasing your contributions to shipped titles.Technical Skills: Proficiency with Unreal Engine, Python, and MEL scripting, with strong knowledge of 3D modeling software (e.g., Maya,3ds Max).Artistic Sensibility: Deep understanding of art principles, including shading, lighting, andvisual effects, and the ability to maintain the game’s artistic vision while optimizingperformance.Innovation & Creativity: Strong desire and motivation to innovate, with experience indeveloping new pipelines and pushing the limits of visual systems.Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical challenges,balancing creative needs with technical constraints.Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with experience workingacross multidisciplinary teams.Passion for Gaming: A deep love for gaming, especially in PvEvP and cross-platformgenres, with an understanding of current and emerging
