Role ObjectiveThe Technical Documentation Specialist (TDS) will produce all necessary documentationrelating to the GlobalView Global projects or solutions to make the change, update ordeployment easy to understand, and the product functionality clear for either internal users orclients as required.The TDS is responsible for creating, writing and revising various types of user documentation,including how-to guides, talk tracks, help documentation, manuals, FAQs, and any other contentthat requires technical information to be distilled with ease and clarity.What You’ll Do Work closely with the Project managers of the different projects and their project teamsin order to understand the documentation needs and functionalities that will be offeredwith the new product/feature being deployed. Explain functional concepts and technical ideas in simple language. Ensure technicalverbiage is easy to understand by the layperson. Review, edit and proofread materials written by others as applicable. Review end user documentation to assure it remains current. Provide updates anddifferent editions as necessary. Study drawings, specifications, mockups, and product samples. Prepare charts, graphs, orforms to go along with rough drafts. Write clear and concise policies and procedures. Adjust copy as necessary and proofread for grammar and spelling. Puntually, explain processes to clients.What You Need, To Do The Job 2 – 3 years experience as a Technical writer or similar and experience within the clientservice industry with resultant knowledge of organization behavior Ability to use computers and documentation management related softwares: Word, Excel,Power Point, Confluence, etc. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Advanced level of spoken and written English, at a native level (additional languagesadvantageous). Demonstrated ability to gather information and insights from individuals and groupsthrough the use of interviews.TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION SPECIALIST The ability to work under the pressure of time constraints, ambiguity and unexpectedchanges. Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills, highly methodical workinghabits and exquisite attention to detail. Capable negotiator and mediator. Reliable, engaging, team worker, proactive and able to easily convey concise messages tothe audience. Comfortable working in an international environment. Flexible and adaptable approach to work responsibilities, times and locations. Payroll domain knowledge an advantage Ability to present and explain the process/information documented to small or bigaudiences an advantage.Education University degree or equivalent Payroll domain knowledge an advantageWho You Will Get To Work With Project Manager Product Manager / Solution Managers / Product Developers Technical teams Product Marketing Communications PMOA little about ADP: We are a comprehensive global provider of cloud-based human capital management (HCM) solutions that unite HR, payroll, talent, time, tax and benefits administration and a leader in business outsourcing services, analytics, and compliance expertise.
