Technical Lead

Key Roles and Responsibilities:Lead a team of full stack engineers and system analyst, providing technical guidance and supportPerform and manage team to analyze existing and new application functionalitiesLead team to design, build, test, and deploy with documentationsLead/Coach team and work collaboratively with project manager, product owner, business analyst, solution architect, and others to deliver solutionsDrive team members to become self-sustain / self-organized workforceCoach team to write and perform unit testsProvide guidance to team membersDrive the technical direction of projects, ensuring adherence to best practicesEstablish and maintain development frameworks and standardsUnderstand business functional expectations and translate into technical requirementsThoroughly understand the overall system architecture, technical solutions and functionalities of the products under responsibilityArchitect, design, and implement scalable software solutionsResearch and demonstrate best practices in software developmentProvide realistic estimations, plans and impact assessments on any solutionsMonitor project progress, communicate status and risks, and ensure timely deliveryManage work plans and task assignmentsManage quality and compliance of the deliverablesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical guidanceAnalyze and solve issue with root cause and solution summaryTroubleshoot complex technical issues and propose effective solutionsAssess and provide solutions to complex issues or incidentsEnsure proper DevOps process executions Qualifications:Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science or related fieldsOver 8 years of experience in full stack development, software development, programming/coding, system architecture design, solution design, microservice design etc.Strong in NodeJS, web application, web services (SOAP, REST), databases, DevOps, container technologyKnowledge in JavaScript, VueJS, Angular, React is a plusStrong in development frameworks and standardsOpen to both waterfall and agile/scrum methodsFamiliarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies is a plusEnsure entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalabilityCode in the way that can be tested and reusedPlan and implement high performing applicationsClear and concise documentationProvide technical consulting and supportAble to translate business needs into technical requirementsAccurately estimate and manage timeline for assigned tasksHigh accountability, able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload supporting multiple projects/assignmentsStrong commitments and able to work under pressureStrong Leadership, Team Management, and Communication skillsGood command of spoken and written in EnglishAble to work as a team and individualRetail Industry Experience is a plus
