Technical Lead, Data Science & EngineeringAbout the Job Korn Ferry has been exclusively retained to appoint a hands-on Technical Lead, Data Science & Engineering for a leading global consumer and digital organisation undertaking a major data and AI transformation. This position drives enterprise analytics strategy, builds advanced machine learning solutions, and leads highly technical teams to accelerate innovation, analytics, personalisation, and commercial performance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design and deployment of data models translating audience behavior and business performance into actionable insights for content, marketing, and revenue strategies.Direct technical teams delivering Consumer Intelligence, Advertising Analytics, and Personalization Technologies, ensuring alignment between delivery, application, and measurable business outcomes.Shape the organisation’s next-generation data and AI capabilities, and drive strategic transformation and real-world commercial impact.Partner with business stakeholders to define problem statements, validate value, and prioritize initiatives.Architect, implement, and operationalize production-grade machine learning and AI models.Develop frameworks for MLOps, data governance, experimentation, model quality, and lifecycle management.Communicate insights and recommendations to senior leadership with commercial clarity.Champion a data-driven culture, ensuring adoption and impact of models across business units.Profile & RequirementsPhD or Master’s in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Statistics, or related disciplines.10+ years’ experience in advanced analytics, including end-to-end ML model development and deployment with commercial impact.Proven leadership of high-performing data science teams in fast-paced, customer-centric environments.Expert programming skills in Python; experience in Java, Scala, or C++ advantageous.Proficiency with modern data science libraries: Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, PySpark; and hands-on experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch.Strong background in supervised and unsupervised learning, time-series forecasting, optimisation, and NLP/computer vision.Success in building and scaling recommendation systems and predictive models.Advanced SQL and data modelling skills.Ability to translate technical concepts into strategic business insights and communicate effectively at senior levels.Note Candidates meeting the role requirements will be contacted by end November 2025.
