Your focus will be to write PHP and JavaScript to a high standard in a timely and scalable way that improves the code in meaningful ways. Also, as Devtech is focused on learning and development, you will be expected to participate in company-wide efforts and promote a security, quality, and knowledge-sharing culture across the company. Leading an engineering team to build a solution that enables distribution and growth of our client’s products through the indirect channel. The partner portal will enable an indirect channel of partners to help acquire and manage customers easily, at scale.Working with the team of Devtech Product Owners, Solution Architects, Software Developers, Quality Assurance, and DevOps engineers on implementing complex back-end system that powers cloud-based security products;Communicate with the Client stakeholders;Developing high-quality solutions that are robust, resilient, and reliable;Participating in technical design, code reviews, planning, and retrospective activities;Interpreting design requirements and concepts to produce new or enhanced application functionalities.What you will need5+ years of experience in managing tech teamsExcellent leadership and communication abilitiesExperience with Product-Led Growth, experimentation, product instrumentation, data and analyticsGood grounding in modern web app design patterns (MVC, SPA, PWA, Component-Based/Modular Architectures, SSR, SOA, Event-driven)Strong proficiency in PHP and Vue.js, with hands-on experience developing and maintaining enterprise-grade production-ready applicationsExtensive experience with Laravel, Symfony, or other modern PHP frameworks that follow similar architectural patterns and conventionsAbility to make sound architectural and design decisionsExperienced in guiding team members through technical challengesSolid understanding of relational databases, including schema design and performance optimizationAdvanced Git proficiency, including collaborative workflows (e.g., feature branching, rebasing, and merge/pull request practices)API-first mindset, familiarity with RESTful API design, GraphQL, JSON, and modern backend development practicesExperience in ensuring quality with code reviews, automated unit and integration testsAbility to contribute to the monitoring infrastructure to improve application operations (error logs, error aggregation, metrics)Proficiency in documenting of new, existing and revised source code, APIs and setup guidesAbility to develop work schedules and timelines based on estimates derived from analyzing product requirements and specificationsExperience with an agile and collaborative approach in working with empowered teams and trios of product-design-engineeringFluent command of EnglishExperience or familiarity with workflow automation with n8n or similar is a plusAbility to embed security practices early in the development process using tools like Snyk is a plusExperience with GitLab, including CI/CD pipeline configuration and management is a plusExperience working with Inertia.js alongside Vue.js is a plusFamiliarity with Jira and Confluence for task tracking and technical documentation is a plusExposure to containerized development environments such as Docker and Laravel Sail is a plusAbility to proactively contribute to innovation, team growth, planning, estimation, and delivery methodologies is a plusWhat we offerDevelopment program (training & conferences, internal knowledge sharing)Outstanding referral bonusesPrivate health insurance and 100% paid sick leave25 days of vacationPaternity leave – 15 days for new dadsReduced working hours for the first month after returning from maternityMental health programEnglish language coursesFitPass
