TECHNICAL MANAGER

Job DescriptionReporting to the Operation Manager, the Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all IoT devices and systems are fully functional and in optimal operating condition. The candidate will support the team by performing installation and maintenance on IoT devices and systems in accordance with maintenance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Individual should be a good team player and is able to engage and interact with internal and external stakeholders.Plan and undertake scheduled field tasks at Clients' premises (ie. IoT Devices.)Perform basic device break-fix during preventive maintenance windows when requiredCoordinate and monitor work progress with customer and relevant parties for information to expedite installation and supervise sub-contractors' work at site.Schedule purchases and deliveries of all materials for the project.Carry out basic troubleshooting, minor repair for IT enterprise productsPrepare preventive maintenance documentation for submissionRecord and report device failure discovered during the preventive maintenance cycleAnd any other ad hoc job requirementsRequirementsDiploma or Degree in Computer science / IT / Engineering or equivalentGood technical skills in engineeringAbility to engage external stakeholders to resolve site issuesHighly motivated and self-driven to complete assigned tasks with limited resources and tight scheduleAble to handle complex technical challenges and different groups of users and external vendorsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well at all levelsAble to work flexible hours especially during after-office hour for scheduled maintenance windows, if requiredPossess strong analytical skills with positive attitude
