Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience in program management.Experience with network infrastructure acquisition (i.e. dark fiber, transport systems, or data centers).Preferred qualifications:5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.Understanding of EMEA and global carrier networks.Ability to exercise business and technical understanding to drive the long-term objectives of the organization. From software to hardware our teams are shaping the future of world-leading hyperscale computing, with key teams working on the development of our TPUs, Vertex AI for Google Cloud, Google Global Networking, Data Center operations, systems research, and much more.ResponsibilitiesBe able to project manage end-to-end repeatable, transparent and planning pipelines, driving Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) network planning activities for asset/infrastructure planning to support product area demand forecasts over time.Optimize Google’s Production Network for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.Ingest, analyze, understand, and rationalize demand forecasts for all EMEA related flows. Translate demand forecasts into regional capacity plans over time, taking into account market trends and technology changes to ensure the most optimized and cost effective network solution, translating this to asset/infrastructure requirements.Own and deliver in-depth technical risk assessments based on various what-if analysis to ensure the best technical solution is planned for across the network.Collaborate across internal teams, including business owners, cross-functional technical teams, negotiators and designers, and network deployment teams.Google is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
