Technical Project Manager

Nomad is available as an iOS or Android app or via getnomad.app.Overview:As a Project Manager, you are responsible for leading customer-facing projects to ensure that the “right” solution is designed, developed, tested, and deployed within customer expectations and that project goals and objectives are well defined and achieved.In this role you must have a strong technical project management background and also have excellent organization, problem solving and communications skills.You must have a solid understanding of project management fundamentals and be comfortable communicating with a diverse stakeholder group including senior leaders both verbally and in writing.The Project Manager manages the successful development and implementation of the product from beginning to end.This person sees strategic ideas from design and testing to implementation and market introduction.The ideal candidate will be curious, pay strong attention to detail, and have a passion for customer success.Responsibilities:Participate in pre-sales meetings and contract preparationsEnsure that best practices and defined project management processes and standards are adhered to for assigned projects with respect to scoping and planning, issue management, risk management, change management, quality management, etcEstablish the project plan baseline by collaboratively defining and documenting the project scope including key milestones and dependencies. Determine and define clear deliverables as well as roles and responsibilities for all assigned project team membersIdentify and secure the necessary resources needed to execute the project planWork with LotusFlare’s internal engineering and design teams and externally with customer technical teams to ensure best practices are followed and optimal solutions are selected and developedDrive project execution: track delivery, take ownership of change management, and proactively seek and resolve blockersAssign and oversee the daily tasks of LotusFlare personnel assigned to the project while ensuring all team members are working toward established milestonesConduct regular meetings to determine progress and address any challenges, issues, or questions regarding assigned projects. Prepare and provide periodic updates and status reports to internal and client leadersManage UAT and production releases, as well as project handover to our operational support teamsBe a part of a Global Delivery Team, share experiences and develop the PM discipline within LotusFlare with the aim to improve processes, methods and tools with creative ideasCreate and maintain project documentation. Work with the latest collaboration tools including Jira, Confluence, Trello, Work@FB, etc Run daily rituals like scrum, backlog grooming, planning, and retrospective for a cross-functional team.
