IT Recruiter - Financial ServicesAbout SEQ Technology:SEQ is a leading provider of IT Solutions, contract staffing, and permanent employment services. Our firm excels in networking with hard-to-reach candidates for positions ranging from entry-level to Subject Matter Experts and C-level executives. With our extensive expertise in serving buy side financial firms, hedge funds, large sell side financial institutions, and private equity, we are seeking an experienced IT Recruiter to join our team.Key Responsibilities:Leverage SEQ's networking capabilities to source and engage hard-to-reach IT talent for our capital markets clients, focusing on roles from entry-level to C-suiteDevelop and execute strategic recruitment plans for high-priority IT positions within capital markets and financial services firmsUtilize advanced search techniques and AI-powered tools to source passive candidates from various platforms, including LinkedIn, GitHub, and Stack OverflowConduct in-depth technical screening interviews to assess candidates' skills in areas such as algorithmic trading, risk management systems, and cybersecurityManage complex offer negotiations, including base salary, bonuses, equity compensation, and relocation packagesCoordinate with HR and legal teams to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations specific to the financial services industryRequirements:7+ years of IT recruitment experience;In-depth knowledge of technology stack and rolesStrong understanding of financial markets and the culture of financial services firmsExcellent networking and relationship-building skillsProven track record of successfully placing candidates in high-level IT positionsExperience recruiting for an agency serving financial services clients (CIBC, RBC, HSBC) is strongly preferredQualifications:Bachelor's degreeProficiency with applicant tracking systems and LinkedIn RecruiterExceptional communication and negotiation skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentSEQ Technology is an Equal Opportunity Employer.We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace that values and respects individuals from all backgrounds.
