Job Title: Product Technical Engineer - Japan (Energy Storage Systems)Location: JapanAbout the Role:We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Product Technical Engineer to act as the key technical bridge for our cutting-edge Energy Storage Systems in the Japanese market. You will be the face of our technology to customers and the voice of the market within our internal teams. Your mission is to drive project success and enhance our product's competitiveness through expert technical communication, deep market insight, and seamless collaboration.Key Responsibilities:Technical Expertise & Project Advancement: Conduct customer visits, lead technical presentations at trade shows, and address complex technical inquiries. Eloquently articulate the value proposition of our solutions and uncover latent customer needs to fuel the sales pipeline.Competitive & Market Analysis: Perform detailed analysis of competitor products, including technical specifications and application case studies. Provide actionable recommendations for product enhancement and strategic positioning.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work as a technical linchpin between Sales, R&D, and Engineering departments. Ensure proposed technical solutions are aligned with market demands, feasible for manufacturing, and successfully driven to rapid deployment.Industry Intelligence: Monitor and analyze the Japanese energy storage landscape, including policy trends (e.g., Demand Response, Frequency Regulation), technological advancements, and competitor activities. Produce insightful market forecast reports and competitive strategies.Grid Compliance: Develop and maintain expertise in grid interconnection rules and technical standards of major Japanese utility companies. Interpret policies to ensure our products and projects remain fully compliant.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.3+ years of experience in a technical role (e.g., Technical Support, Product Engineer, Application Engineer) within the ESS, PV, EV, or related power electronics industry.Business-fluency in Japanese (JLPT N1 equivalent) is essential for technical communication and documentation. Professional working proficiency in English is required.Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven client-facing ability.
