The Technical Superintendent will oversee the technical management of assigned vessels, ensuring compliance with safety and marine regulations. Key responsibilities include conducting ship inspections, managing maintenance schedules, ensuring cost efficiency, preparing for audits, and troubleshooting technical issues. The role also involves liaising with vessel crews, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to maintain operational excellence.QualificationsProficiency in Ship Management and Maritime operationsExperience in performing vessel Inspections and ensuring regulatory complianceKnowledge of Marine Engineering principles and practicesBackground in Sailing or relevant seafaring experience is an advantageStrong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and demonstrate leadership capabilitiesRelevant certifications or degrees in Marine Engineering or a related fieldTanker seagoing experience as a Chief Engineer or Second Engineer (at least COC Class 1 or 2) will be added advantageAt least 3-5 years of experience as technical superintendent for oil tankers
