🚀 PLAATO Technical Support Specialist (Oslo, Hybrid)Contract: Part‑time (3 days/week), fixed‑term 12+ monthsStart: Q4 2025 (asap)Location: Oslo (hybrid: office + remote)Want to be part of a growing Oslo tech company whose products reach over 300 breweries and distilleries in almost 40 countries? Our mission, is to provide industry tools that make world-class production possible for all.About the Role:As a Technical Support Specialist at PLAATO, you’ll be the front line of our customer experience for SMB customer — helping troubleshoot issues, understand our technology, and make the most of our products. You’ll combine technical knowledge with clear communication and a customer-first mindset, ensuring that every customer feels supported and confident using PLAATO’s products.You’ll work closely with customer success, hardware and software to identify patterns in customer feedback, report issues and bugs, and help drive continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide responsive, empathetic, and effective technical support via email, chat, and other channels.Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues across PLAATO products and integrations.Analyse data and trends to identify recurring questions, and contribute to our knowledge base.Collaborate with engineering to escalate and resolve complex technical problems.Collaborate with customer success teams to ensure quick issue resolution and customer satisfaction.Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and efficiency.Skills & ExperienceEssential:Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help customers succeed.Fluent or Native EnglishStrong troubleshooting skills and technical curiosity — comfortable working with connected devices, mobile apps, and cloud services.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Desirable:Experience using support tools like HubSpot Service Hub.Familiarity with IoT connectivity (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, sensors, APIs).Basic understanding of brewing, fermentation, or related industries.Additional languages are advantageous.What you get:Real-world experience in a global hardware/software startup.The opportunity to work with a passionate and collaborative team building innovative technology for a global audience.Flexible working arrangements and a supportive, growth-oriented culture.3 days/week, paid at market rate.Opportunities for professional development and advancement.A central Oslo office as your main base, with flexibility for some tasks to be done remotely.📅 Apply by November 4th, 12:00📩 Send CV + short motivational letter to emily@plaato.io
