Technician 1

Job description: Role Purpose   A Technician Level 1 is expected to perform all maintenance and repairs to the required manufactures standards.  Job Accountabilities & Activities   -  Independently carry out repairs, calibrations and troubleshooting on equipment.- Where required assist and support other team members to complete their assigned tasks.- Diagnose, analyses and rectify all types of faults, using manufactures information.- Maintain required levels of Utilization, Productivity and Efficiency. In line with Manufacturers standard times.- Ensure company/manufactures policies and procedures followed.- Maintain the highest level of professional standards when discussing work with customers, suppliers and colleagues.- Provide technical advice to customers and colleagues.- Comply with Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices.- Maintain a thorough and up to date knowledge of products and attend training courses. Education & Certifications   High school education. Heavy vehicle technician or equivalent manufactures qualification. Required Years of Experience   Over 8 years’ work experience repairing and maintaining heavy vehicles or equipment.
