Technician 2

Job description: Role Purpose   A Technician Level 2 is expected to perform maintenance and repairs, of the agreed equipment/systems, to the required manufactures standards.  Job Accountabilities & Activities   - Independently carry out maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting on equipment/systems. In line with individual experience and knowledge.- When required, work with other team member to complete assigned tasks.- Diagnose, analyze, and rectify all types of faults, using manufactures information.- Maintain required levels of Utilization, Productivity and Efficiency. In line with Manufacturers standard times.- Ensure company/manufactures policies and procedures followed.- Maintain the highest level of professional standards when discussing work with colleagues.- Provide technical advice colleagues.- Comply with Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices.- Maintain a thorough and up to date knowledge of products and attend training courses.  Education & Certifications   High school education. Heavy vehicle technician or equivalent manufactures qualification. Required Years of Experience   4 to 6 years’ work experience repairing and maintaining heavy vehicles or equipment.
