Measures overall maintenance performance & suggests enhancement plans.Responsibilities:Analyses problems detected in mechanical devices in operation and to find the causes to implement correctives solutions to avoid halting of operation due to unexpected emergencies.Support new machines/equipment’s installation in the factory. Dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective parts.Determines changes in requirements of parts by inspecting and measuring various instruments.Maintains inventories of equipment spare parts and supplies by checking stock and placing orders when needed for any possible replacements.Prepares preventive plan to ensure smooth daily operations and efficient functioning of machines.Trains production workers on routine preventive maintenance.Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.Prepares quotation and technical specs for requested spare parts/equipment(s) to deliver them to purchasing department for final processing.Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.ABOUT YOUQualifications:University degree, in Electrical/ Mechanical /Electronics/ Industrial Engineering or similar fieldMinimum 3 years’ experience working as machine maintenance technician.Job CompetenciesCritical thinking Analyzing, problem solving skillsDecision-makingCommunication skillsAbility to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
