Together, we’re the next BIG thing in data.Job DescriptionESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Mechanical expert in HGA operationLeverage related knowledge to improve FA turnaround time and predictable machine performance for maximizing reliable capacity, Yield and product qualitySupport HGA NPI product builds, HGA Automation transitioning and all HGA new technology and process reviews for volume production readinessQualificationsREQUIRED:Bachelor degree or higher in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics or related science/engineeringExperienced 5+ years in HDD or Electronics industryIn depth understanding for the HGA product characteristics and how they will influence to downstream processes/product performance (HSA and HDD levels)This covers, but not limited to, Gram Load, Pitch/Roll Static Attitudes, Resonance, Flyability, etc.Identify and execute the process/product improvement opportunities to deliver the optimum factory KPI’s (Yield, Cpk, Quality metrics, Capacity, etc.) and product KPOV’sImprove the incident FA turnaround time through systematic methodology and digitalizationAssess and closely work with concerning parties for new process/technology/product to guarantee no capacity, cost and quality hiccup since NPI and Mass Production buildsSkillsGood in communications With data analytics and/or coding skills is an advantageEager on learning and self-developmentAdditional InformationWestern Digital thrives on the power and potential of diversity.
