Run what runs the world.This Position reports to:Marketing&Sales Mgr & Commercial LeaderYour Role And ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to adapt and implement tendering, sales support strategy using specific technical capability for the designated area in line with the global support strategy and focus on supporting configuration and quotation requirements. Each day, you will oversee estimations, bids, and proposals, ensuring alignment with ABB standards and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring that inputs for editing activities related to bid, estimate, and quotation preparation are provided in a timely manner and in accordance with the established quality procedures.Work mode: HybridFormulating competitive bids, estimates, and quotations by considering the best available product mix and appropriate technical and commercial aspects for each situation.Ensuring tenders are well-documented in a timely manner and with an appropriate level of detail, including full and accurate costs.Leading and managing the planning and preparation of technical, financial, and, if required, project management aspects of the bid, estimate, and quotation, indicating prices and trading conditions.Managing the collection and archival of documentation regarding the offer/order and recording of assumptions and decisions made during development; and ensuring the status of the bids, estimates, and quotations are reported regularly.Qualifications for the role:Degree qualifications in Engineering, ideally ElectricalMinimum of 5 years of experience in a tendering and people management role with strong leadership and mentoring skills.Deep knowledge and understanding of medium voltage components, switchgear and solutions.Competent in using SAP (preferable), Salesforce, CPQ solution, etc.Critical consulting skills in bid-no bid issues, risk review, negotiations and reporting.Good communication skills and assertive business acumenTime management, co-ordination, accuracy, attention to detail and performing in a pressure environment are necessaryWhat's in it for you?
