A2 Limited until: permanent Reference no.: 4899The positionThe aim of this tenure-track professorship is to advance research and teaching in the psychology of digitalization, with a particular focus on the transformation of work in the digital age. The successful candidate is expected to complement the faculty’s existing areas of expertise. The empirical research profile should be both substantively and methodologically aligned with the thematic area of “Occupational, Economic and Social Psychology.” Applications are welcome from all areas of the psychology of digitalization, especially those addressing the impact of automation, artificial intelligence (AI), and virtual reality (VR) on working conditions, human behavior, and organizations. A broad methodological expertise, including quantitative approaches and innovative digital research methods, is highly desirable. The Faculty of Psychology is committed to open science, including open data, open materials, and preregistration. Applicants are asked to describe how they have implemented these principles in their previous research and how they plan to promote them in the future.The Department of Occupational, Economic, and Social Psychology at the University of Vienna offers a dynamic, interdisciplinary research environment that brings together expertise in social psychology, motivation psychology, economic psychology, and behavioral decision-making.
