TOEIC 700- for non-English speaker, N1 grade for non-Japanese speaker)Ability to communication both technical and functionalAbility to work independentlyEffective time management skillsAbility to handle a reasonable amount of stressStrong attention to detailProblem solving skillsAlertness and courageEthics and trustKnowledge in operating a computer, fax, and other office equipmentOther (license/certification)Annual Pearson Professional Centers certification for Test Administrator requiredMust pass re-certification annuallyPrimary ResponsibilitiesOperational AdministrationAssure equipment is operational and test stations are free of extraneous materialsReview transmissions logs (uploading of current day’s test results & daily downloading of examinations and site schedule) from software that automatically connects to hub system periodicallyCommunicate and work with VSS technical support to investigate and fix technical issuesTest Center cleaningCustomer ServiceReview test roster and prepare accordingly for candidates including special accommodation preparationCheck in candidates and verify identificationsExplain the test process brieflyHelp candidates to place all personal belongings in a personal lockerEscort examinee to assigned test stationHelp the examinee begin the tutorial/testAnswer any questions before the timed portion of the test beginsMonitor examineesRecord and report all problems or discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner that arise in connection with an exam, a candidate or the testing center itselfPrint the test results after the candidate completes the testQuality Assurance and Continuous ImprovementEnsure the adherence to the Pearson Professional Center quality and security measuresRecognize and identify potential areas where existing policies and procedures require change or where new ones need to be developed and sharedWORK ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONSPhysical RequirementsBe comfortable to work in a quiet testing environmentBe flexible in work hoursWho We AreAt Pearson, our purpose is simple: to help people realize the life they imagine through learning.
