Job IntroductionThe Frequentis Group is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. With headquarters in Vienna, the company employs more than 2500 people worldwide, with subsidiaries, regional offices and representatives in over 50 countries.In Cluj we started in 2009 and our local team currently has 250+ colleagues and is growing.This position has a strong focus on creating automated non-functional tests and occasionally it implies contribution to developing functional tests.The test engineer, in this position, will have a major contribution to the development of a safety critical software product utilized in regional or country wide emergency call centers.Key TasksContribute to the development of performance testing scenarios based on non-functional requirements, system architecture and reported defectsOccasionally contribute to the development of automated functional test scenariosCollect test results to generate test reports and test summariesInvestigate test results and raise defects to the appropriate development teamLearn, follow and aim to improve the software development processes agreed with the rest of the teamUnderstand and apply OOP programming principles throughout the development activities for automated testsKey QualificationsResults oriented person – get things done attitudeMinimum 2 years of hands-on automated testing experience on integrated software systems and some experience with load testingExperienced with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)Experienced with Java.
