The main function will be to support the development of high-tech systems in the defence sector. You will be responsible for the preparation, execution, and reporting of complex experimental tests that validate system performance and ensure compliance with stringent specifications. This includes both in-house and field testing at external (including military) sites.ResponsibilitiesDefine and write test plans and protocols in line with technical standardsPlan test phases and assign roles within multidisciplinary teamsConduct TRRs (Test Readiness Reviews) and coordinate demonstration sessionsDefine and implement instrumentation solutions (e.g., vibration, strain, pressure)Lead test execution and ensure data integrity, safety, and compliancePost-process test data and draft clear and accurate test reportsArchive raw and processed data in accordance with internal proceduresMaintain and calibrate test equipment and sensor chainsContribute to design reviews with a focus on testability and accessibilitySupport continuous improvement of the testing and special measurements unitSkills / QualificationsDegree in Engineering (mechanical, electro-mechanical, electronics, or related field)Experience in test engineering, preferably within a defence or high-tech environmentStrong knowledge of instrumentation, data acquisition, and signal processingPractical experience with vibration testing, thermal measurement, and strain gaugesFamiliarity with standards like MIL-STD-810 is a plusWillingness to travel 3–5 times per year for on-site test execution (3–15 days each)Professional working proficiency in French and EnglishStrong organizational and interpersonal skills with a safety-first mindsetThe next stepWe have an exceptional team in place, and we are pleased to be able to appoint a further person to our growing business.
