Test Engineer / R&D Engineer (m/f/d)Ready for a new challenge in the field of medical technology? Become part of our growing MedTech start-up and contribute your technical expertise to innovative medical devices! For our sites in Frankfurt am Main (Germany) and Lausanne (Switzerland), you will play a key role as a Test Engineer / R&D Engineer (m/f/d) in our team. You will work independently on the planning and execution of product testing, coordinate testing with external partners and thus significantly contribute to the success and growth of our company. Your responsibilities Preparation of test plans, test protocols and test reportsPlanning and execution of e.g., functional, performance and endurance tests for our productsAnalysis of test results as well as definition and follow-up of improvement measuresPlanning, execution and documentation of test method validationsSet-up, maintenance and continuous optimisation of test rigs and test methodsParticipation in development and improvement of our medical devicesClose collaboration with production/process engineering in transferring new or modified designs into serial productionTechnical evaluation of new materials, components and manufacturing processesLiaison with external service providers, laboratories and development partners  Your qualificationsCompleted technical degree (e.g. Medical Engineering, Process Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering or similar) or a comparable technical qualification with relevant professional experienceInitial professional experience (approx. 1–3 years) in testing, verification, development or product validation, ideally in the medical device fieldAlternatively: Several years of solid experience in these areas and the desire to contribute your expertise to a young, dynamic teamExperience in planning, executing and evaluating tests (ideally in a regulated environment)Ideally experience with disposables Practical experience in a laboratory environment is an advantageConfident handling of measuring and testing equipment as well as a structured, analytical way of workingBasic understanding of quality management systems (e.g. ISO 13485) is an advantageSolution-oriented mindset and a structured approach to root cause analysisConfident level of written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantageWillingness to work approximately 60% of your time on site at our locationsHands-on mentality, initiative and enjoyment of working in a small team Do you prefer real challenges and the variety of a MedTech company over routine – experiencing all aspects up close and taking real responsibility?
