Trapeze DACH ITS is the partner in German-speaking Europe with more than 300 employees at 7 locations.We are currently looking for a Test Engineer (m/f/d) in Neuhausen, Switzerland. Key ResponsibilitiesConduct functional and non-functional testing for software, ensuring reliability and performance across all use casesDevelop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts tailored to software interacting with hardware componentsPerform manual and automated testing to identify defects and validate fixesCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, hardware engineers, and project managers, to understand requirements and report findingsAnalyze logs and technical data to troubleshoot hardware-software integration issuesParticipate in regression testing, performance testing, and compatibility testingUtilize programming skills to assist in building automation frameworks and scripts for repetitive testing scenariosDocument test results, track issues, and follow through to resolution using defect tracking toolsYour ProfileExperience: Minimum 2 years in software testing, with a focus on hardware-specific or embedded softwareTechnical Skills:Proficient in functional and non-functional testing methodologiesUnderstanding of hardware-software integration and troubleshootingFamiliarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)Experience or interest in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, or similar)Knowledge of automation tools is a plus (e.g., Selenium, Appium)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentExperience with testing software in embedded systems or IoT devicesKnowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalentProficient in both English and German written and speakingDesire to work in the office five days a weekOur OfferMaybe we don't have a 3-day week or a 16th salary – we simply keep what we promiseWe work daily on the pulse of the time: We create unique solutions for sustainable mobilityWe combine the advantages of an international corporation with an agile medium-sized company: International growth opportunities, design freedom, Your value is visibleThe rest is a matter of course for us: Attractive salary package, flexible work, Workation, further education, YOU count as a person
