Test Lead

Our client, a growing organisation focused on agile development and delivery, is seeking a Quality Assurance Lead / Test Consultant to strengthen their testing and QA practices. This role is ideal for someone passionate about guiding development teams, driving improvements in testing methodologies, and ensuring quality across the full delivery lifecycle.The RoleAs a consultant, you will be embedded within development teams to support and enhance their QA processes. Responsibilities may include:Defining and implementing test strategies.Coordinating and managing overall test activities.Reviewing and improving quality assurance processes.Performing hands-on testing when required.You will also have the opportunity to share knowledge and collaborate with a wider community of QA, automation, and DevOps specialists.Candidate ProfileThe successful candidate will:Have a strong drive for planning, follow-up, and reporting.Possess excellent coordination and communication skills.Enjoy sharing knowledge to support team and organisational growth.Be detail-oriented, responsible, and quality-focused.Skills & ExperienceProven experience leading test projects involving both manual and automated testing.Background in projects with integrations between multiple systems.ISTQB certification.Practical experience writing, maintaining, and executing test cases.Several years’ experience with many of the following:Jira or similar agile project management tools.Zephyr/Xray or other test management tools.Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).CI/CD pipelines.
