Position Name: Testing EngineerLocation： NanjingDepartment： AdvisoryService Line： KDiJob SummaryThe downstream systems lead is responsible for leading the technical design and end-to-end implementation of the integration platform supporting various data feeds and systems. This role involves collaborating closely with cross-geo teams, cross-functional teams, and cross-systems teams to ensure the integrity, security, and performance of the company's downstream systems (e.g. local and group reporting like IFRS17 ETL, financial analysis and reporting platforms, etc.) throughout the system lifecycle.Service Line OverviewWe are committed to consistently delivering quality audits, enabled by the power of technology and the strength of our people. Through this, KPMG is a leader in driving the future of audit.Testing EngineerAs a Test Engineer, you will independently take charge of functional, API, performance, and automation testing for the system, while also participating in AI-model-specific test tasks. Candidates with AI-testing experience will be given preference, but a solid foundation in traditional testing is mandatory.Key ResponsibilitiesRelease verification testing: Independently author test plans, test cases, and test reports covering functional, API, performance, regression, and compatibility dimensions.Own testing of the AI modules within the system:– Functional– API– Performance– Prior AI Experience RequiredDefect tracking & quality analysis: Use Jira to accurately describe, localize, and retrospect issues, driving developers to close them within one sprint.Test delivery: Deliver test reports that satisfy both internal audit and regulatory spot-check requirements.Experience and BackgroundExperience: 1–5 years of software-testing experience, proficient in writing test designs, cases, and reports; familiar with the Agile processes.Technical Skills: Testing and SQL skillsets, able to write automation scripts will be betterEnglish reading & writing: Can read English requirements/API docs, participate in English meetings, and deliver English test reports.Preferred Qualifications: Hands-on experience testing / machine-learningAbout KPMGAt KPMG China, we are committed to being an equal opportunity employer, with zero tolerance for any form of discrimination against any persons.
