Remote with travel to travel to PNGPosition OverviewThe Grants Specialist is responsible for reviewing the different grant modalities offered throughout Australia Awards; and providing guidance and advice on the development of an efficient and effective new grants management system that captures the full grants lifecycle stages: application, contracting, financial management, project management, monitoring and evaluation, and reporting. Key ResponsibilitiesThe Grants Specialist will complete the following:

Conduct a comprehensive consultation and review of existing grant documentation, workflows, and processesProvide a report that identify gaps, inefficiencies, risks and potential non compliance in current practices, including recommendations for addressing these itemsDevelop new framework and grants information system, which includes templates and guidelinesTotal input days up to 30 days with travel to PNG for up to 5 days for consultation, and remaining inputs remotelySelection CriteriaTertiary qualification in a related field such as public administration, management, international development, or business administrationDemonstrated experience (5+ years desirable) at a senior level in development of grant frameworks, and the implementation and management of grants in an international development contextFor a complete position description, please click here.
