We specialise in providing high-quality Air Conditioning and Ventilation solutions to our clients. Due to our ongoing growth, we are seeking to add a Mechanical Estimator to join our tram. Job Title:  Mechanical EstimatorLocation:  Dublin 22Job Type:  Full-time, PermanentPay:  €45,000 to €60,000 (depending on experience)Expected Hours:

 39 hours per weekKey RequirementsA third level qualification in Mechanical Engineering / Quantity SurveyingBe permanently resident in the Republic of IrelandA minimum of 3+ years post qualification experience in a similar roleExcellent interpersonal, mathematical and communication skillsUnderstand methods of measurement and the concept of cost/valuation reconciliationsPrevious experience of mechanical inclusion works packagesHave the ability to work well as part of a positive working high performance team. Have full knowledge of Heating, Ventilation Air Conditioning and plumbing/piping systems.

General ResponsibilitiesOversee the tendering process from initial inquiry stagesCollaborate with project managers, engineers and clients to obtain required information for tender pack preparationsResponsibility for the preparation and issuance of competitive tenders and detailed estimates for clients across multiple sectorsAttend pre & post tender meetingsComply with supply chain sub-contract quotationsEnsuring supply chain full compliance with specification and requirementsComplete take offs from tender packs and drawingsManage costs for projects and assess risk for cost control purposesPrepare proposals, complete BOQ's and participate in contract negotiationsReport regularly to management on competitor activities, market trends and dynamics.
