Serving over 1.5 million people across northeast London, Essex and further afield, we provide specialist cancer services supported by cutting-edge technology and an expert multidisciplinary team.About The Radiotherapy ServiceBased at the internationally renowned St Bartholomew’s Hospital in the heart of the City of London, our radiotherapy department offers a dynamic and forward-thinking environment where you’ll have the opportunity to work with advanced techniques and the latest innovations in cancer treatment.Our Current Equipment Includes Five Varian TrueBeam linacs; two with 6DoF couch. Upgrades planned throughout 2025 and 2026 include a fleet upgrade to Hypersight, RapidArc Dynamic and SGRT on four TrueBeam linacs and one linac replacement with a Varian ETHOS unit. XStrahl orthovoltage and Bravos HDR brachytherapy intergraded onto the Radiotherapy ARIA network. Siemens Somatom Confidence CT for pre-treatment imaging and Varian Eclipse TPS for treatment planning.We deliver a wide range of advanced techniques, including IMRT, IGRT, TBI, DIBH, SABR, ART, stereotactic radiosurgery (HyperArc) and gynaecological brachytherapy.We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Band 5 Therapeutic Radiographer to join our team. This is a rotational post covering all areas of the department, including pre-treatment imaging, treatment delivery and brachytherapyOur CultureWe pride ourselves on a strong culture of learning, education, and support.
