We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.The Respiratory Physiology Service provides routine & specialized services to the population of Greater Glasgow & Clyde.The post holder will be required to perform basic/specialist diagnostic investigations, sterilization of equipment and general administrative duties for the respiratory laboratories within GGCHB. Band 6 or trainees positions would be considered.The post holder must be able to travel to sites across GG&C to provide diagnostic tests on a rotational basis.Minimum QualificationsBSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent. Other scientific degrees may be considered.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Completion of (band 6) or working toward ARTP practitioner certificate (2 year trainee)Experience working within a respiratory physiology department, with evidence of assessment of competence in performing basic respiratory and/or sleep investigations.Knowledge of specialised respiratory and sleep investigations and the pathophysiology around both.Informal contact: Robin Tourish - robin.tourish@nhs.scotDetails on how to contact the Recruitment Service and the Recruitment Process: Information for candidatesThis post may close early to the volume of response.
