Job Title: Thumbtack Sales RepresentativeLocation: On-Site – Karachi, PakistanWorking Hours: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Pakistan Standard Time)Salary Range: 40K - 60K We are seeking experienced professionals to support our authors with a variety of publishing tasks. As a contractor, you will collaborate with writers of all levels, helping them refine, prepare, and publish their manuscripts. You will work on projects ranging from fiction and nonfiction to memoirs, business books, and more.ResponsibilitiesPerform developmental editing, line editing, and/or copyediting depending on skill setComplete proofreading for clarity, grammar, and consistencyFormat manuscripts for print and ebook distributionAssist with self-publishing setup, including metadata, uploads, and layoutProvide author coaching and communication throughout each projectManage deadlines and deliver polished work on timeCommunicate professionally with clients and our internal teamOptional: Support authors with book marketing tasks (if experienced)RequirementsProven experience in editing, proofreading, or publishingStrong grammar, writing, and communication skillsAbility to maintain an author’s voice while improving clarity and structureFamiliarity with Chicago Manual of Style (preferred)Experience with Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, or other publishing platforms (preferred)Must meet deadlines consistentlyAbility to handle multiple projects at onceProfessionalism and client-focused mindsetReliable and detail-oriented Preferred QualificationsExperience in book marketing or author brandingPrior work with publishing agencies or self-published authorsKnowledge of story structure (for fiction editors)Formatting/Typesetting experience (Vellum, Word, or Adobe)How to applyKindy send your resume at career@digitechs.org
