Job SummaryResponsible for managing, controlling and distributing the tools and/or accessories used in the manufacturing area. This includes their maintenance. Work under supervisionEssential Duties And ResponsibilitiesPerforms general cleaning, administrative or maintenance work related to the operation of the area. Organize tools and/or accessories within the area. Registers and delivers tools and/or accessories to manufacturing personnel. Inspects new and repaired tools and equipment for proper operation. Write requests for the repair or replacement of tools. Writes transmissions for the delivery of tools and equipment to suppliers for repair. Perform preventative maintenance and necessary repairs on tools and equipment. May train new employees if assigned. May perform other assigned duties and responsibilities. Provide support to all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) programs and initiatives to support our zero-accident culture. Job QualificationsKNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS0-2 Years’s experience in tool management and controlOr an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience. Technician in industrial mechanics or mechanical maintenance experience (preferable)Microsoft excel experience. Ability to keep simple records and calculations (basic math)Knowledge of machine shop and mechanical maintenance tools and their repair. Good communication skills (verbal and written).
