Job Description

Our client, a marketing and consultancy company based in Mazabuka, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development & Administration Associate to join our growing team. This multifaceted role combines administrative support with business development initiatives, ensuring seamless operations while actively contributing to strategic growth efforts. The successful candidate will bring a proactive mindset and excellent organizational skills to help drive their success. Key Responsibilities:

Business DevelopmentSupport the business development team by conducting market research, analyzing trends, and preparing reports on potential growth opportunitiesAssist in the preparation and submission of proposals, RFPs, and bids to prospective clients, ensuring all documentation meets organizational standardsCoordinate schedules, organize meetings, and ensure that materials are prepared for internal and client-facing engagementsHelp in developing promotional materials, presentations, and other marketing collateral to support the business development strategyFacilitate communication between different departments to ensure alignment on business development goals and initiativesTrack and follow up on leads and opportunities to help maximize pipeline efficiencyParticipate in networking events, conferences, and meetings to represent TopFloor and generate new business connectionsProvide support in monitoring budgets and managing expenses related to business development initiativesCalendar and Schedule ManagementManage the employer's complex and often demanding calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and eventsCoordinate internal and external meetings, preparing agendas and ensuring smooth logisticsManage administrative functions including documentation management, filing systems, and database maintenance to ensure efficient operationsCommunication and Correspondence:

Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including screening calls and emails, drafting professional correspondence, and responding on behalf of the employerServe as a professional first point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, maintaining a high level of discretionAssist with general office administration duties such as answering phones, managing correspondence, and coordinating travel arrangementsTravel and Logistics: Arrange all aspects of domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodation, and ground transportationPrepare detailed travel itineraries and handle visa arrangements as needed. Administrative and Office Support: Maintain organized filing systems for documents, reports, and databases.

Assist with document creation, presentations, and compiling reports and briefs. Manage office supplies and resources as requiredMeeting and Event Coordination: Organize and prepare for meetings, ensuring conference rooms are ready and materials are distributed. Take minutes, transcribe dictation, and follow up on action itemsResearch and Information Gathering: Conduct research and gather information on various topics to support the employer's work. Problem-Solving and Strategic Support: Utilize business administration knowledge to anticipate potential issues and proactively solve problems.

Develop an in-depth understanding of the employer's role, industry, and company goals to provide strategic supportRequirementsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field2-4 years of experience in business development, administration, or a related fieldStrong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple projects efficientlyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM softwareAbility to work independently with minimal supervision while being a team playerStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesDemonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleaguesPossess a proactive attitude with a focus on achieving resultsWillingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environmentHow To ApplyInterested candidates should submit their applications by 29th August 2025.
