Job Description

About ToptalToptal is a global network of top talent in business, design, and technology that enables companies to scale their teams, on-demand. With $200+ million in annual revenue and team members based around the globe, Toptal is the world’s largest fully remote workforce. We take the best elements of virtual teams and combine them with a support structure that encourages innovation, social interaction, and fun. We see no borders, move at a fast pace, and are never afraid to break the mold. Job Summary: We are seeking a versatile and adaptable Talent Specialist to join our Staffing team.

This role combines both sourcing and recruiting responsibilities: you will own the full candidate lifecycle — from proactive sourcing and outreach, coordinating interviews, and guiding candidates through the hiring process. The focus is on staffing solutions for engineering and technical roles (direct hire, contract-to-hire, and temporary placements) across industry sectors. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers, client account leads, and other internal teams to ensure we build strong, scalable candidate pipelines while delivering an exceptional candidate experience. This is a remote position. We do not offer visa sponsorship or assistance. Resumes and communication must be submitted in English. Responsibilities:

The following information is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. It is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or required skills. Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify top talent across relevant industries and regions. Build and maintain strong pipelines for key staffing roles (e. g. , engineers, technicians). Proactively source, identify, and engage candidates using multiple channels. Conduct candidate outreach, screening calls, and in-depth interviews to assess fit for direct hire, contract-to-hire, and temporary roles. Manage the full recruiting process:

scheduling interviews, collecting feedback, extending offers, and supporting onboarding. Partner with internal account managers and client stakeholders to align on requirements, timelines, and hiring expectations. Track progress against KPIs (time-to-fill, pipeline health, quality of hire) and provide data-driven updates to leadership. Ensure compliance with staffing requirements, including documentation, background checks, and employment eligibility. Use ATS and sourcing tools to manage pipelines, keep data accurate, and maintain clear candidate records. Contribute to process improvements, playbooks, and sourcing best practices to support scalability as the staffing business grows. In the first week, expect to: Onboard and integrate into Toptal.

Undergo role-specific training including learning about staffing processes, ATS tools, and sourcing platforms. In the first month, expect to: Begin sourcing candidates for open staffing requisitions and building role-specific pipelines. Partner with hiring managers and account leads to align on staffing needs. In the first three months, expect to: Own the full recruiting lifecycle for assigned staffing roles. Successfully place your first candidates into direct hire or contract-to-hire roles. Establish strong working relationships with hiring managers and account leads. In the first six months, expect to: Consistently meet time-to-fill targets and deliver high-quality candidates.

Refine sourcing strategies and proactively anticipate client staffing needs. Be seen as a trusted recruiting partner across the staffing team. In the first year, expect to: Fully own and be recognized as the subject matter expert for staffing recruitment. Contribute to strategic initiatives that improve staffing operations, processes, and candidate experience. Qualifications and Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree preferred. 3–4+ years of recruiting and/or sourcing experience, ideally within staffing or agency environments. Proven success filling direct hire, contract-to-hire, and temp roles. Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms. Strong interviewing, candidate assessment, and pipeline management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and collaboration tools (Slack, Zoom, etc. ). Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, rapidly growing company while managing multiple requisitions. Remote work experience preferred. You must be a world-class individual contributor to thrive at Toptal. You will not be here just to tell other people what to do. For Toptal Use Only: #centralamerica #southamerica
