Work ResponsibilitiesFinance Controller is responsible for general ledger assets, fixed assets, month-end clothing and reporting activities. This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles and attention to detail. Finance Controller has a crucial role in maintaining financial accuracy, compliance, and transparency to ensure management reporting requirements. Overseeing the general ledger accounting system, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded, and accounts are properly reconciled, including bank statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other balance sheet and income statement accounts.
Managing the Fixed Asset acquisition, depreciation, and disposal of fixed assets, which includes maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance. Leading the month-end closing process, which involves reconciling accounts, making necessary adjustments, and preparing financial and group management reports, including accruals, adjustments and journal entries to provide insights into the company’s financial performance. Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies related to general ledger, fixed asset accounting, and management reporting. Be proactive and take active role to harmonize financial processes within area of responsibilities.
Fulfilling internal controls reporting requirements to prevent errors or fraud, and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting. Assisting with internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and evidence related to general ledger accounts, fixed assets, and financial clothing and reporting. Communicating financial information and findings to local country’s finance teams and management. Co-operating with SSC departments and local country’s finance teams. Performing ad-hoc financial analysis to support decision-making and identify areas for financial improvement.
