Job Description

The Trade & Business Development Associate supports the execution of commercial strategies across retail channels to drive revenue growth, brand visibility, and in-store excellence. This role works closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain management teams to ensure effective retail execution, strong promotional performance, and disciplined commercial processes. The incumbent will be hands-on in managing day-to-day trade activities, coordinating promotions, and supporting key account initiatives.Trade Marketing Planning and ImplementationSupport the development and execution of marketing activation plans aligned with brand and sales objectivesImplement channel strategies based on the marketing calendarWork with the marketing team on new product launches, campaigns, and eventsPlan and execute trade activations (e.g. baby fairs, retailer pop-ups)Conduct store visits to assess brand positioning and identify improvement opportunitiesDevelop trade marketing materials (POSM, sell-in decks, toolkits, promotional assets)Work closely with brand and partnerships teams on collaboration campaignsTrack marketing ROI and promotion efficiencyCoordinate with fulfilment teams to ensure timely product delivery Business Development Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners Support market and channel analysis to identify growth opportunities Identify new retail channels and expansion areas Prepare commercial proposals, pitch decks, and business cases Conduct competitive and pricing analysis Support onboarding of new partners and distributors Maintain key account trackers, pipelines, and performance dashboardsAdditional InformationThis role involves on-ground retail, roadshow, and trade event activities, including extended periods of standing and handling merchandising materials (typically up to 5kg). Team support and appropriate equipment are provided to facilitate setup and teardown activities.
