Job DescriptionSeize the opportunity to part of Corporate and Investment banking now!As a Trade Lifecycle Associate within the Client Instruction Capture and Settlements team, you will support global trade processing, collaborate with Fails Management and Trades Support teams, and help deliver secure, innovative service solutions using the latest technology to promote user-focused experiences and operational excellence for our clients.Job ResponsibilitiesManage the workflow through the life cycle of Custody Trades Monitor and manage trade capture, fails management and settlement activitiesAddress settlement discrepancies/issues and leverage escalation channels promptlyRespond to queries relating to trade status and market practice Manage and control the daily workflow within the Custody Team.Maximize team capacity through effective resource planning and ensure team structure is robust through effective training and succession planningProvide effective communications to the department, ensuring staff are aware of strategic and regulatory changes in the organizationContinue review of content and presentation of Standard Operating Procedures, in line with new policies and ongoing risk management activitiesContribute to the strategic development of Custody productsRequired Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills3+ years experience in an Operations roleStrong Risk and Control Awareness: Ability to effectively prioritize workloads and work to critical deadlinesExcellent customer service skills and able to handle difficult situations internally and externallyOperational subject matter expertise in Reconciliation, Settlements, Fails Management, Trade Support, Risk and Control, and CustodyStrong ability to learn ongoing stream of new markets, products, and processesStrong risk and control awareness, including the ability to effectively prioritize workloads and work to critical deadlinesConfident communicator in all mediums with both internal and external clientsStrategic thinker, ability to review and implement process improvementsProficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities And SkillsBachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferredGlobal Custody or Local Custody backgroundExperience in driving projects and initiativesFamiliarity with swift messages specifically MT54 seriesGood knowledge in MS Office Suite applications - MS Word, Excel and Power PointCapable of working under pressure and to cope with changing volumes, whilst maintaining accuracy and quality.Flexibility working on APAC and late APAC shiftABOUT USJPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world’s most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
